Here she is! I have to say that when I had my last baby I was so frustrated because I wanted to take a billion pictures of here all dolled up. But when we finally came home and I was recovering, taking pictures was the most stressful, hard thing. I am sure it didn't have to be, but it was. I ended up paying a friend to take some of the two of us because I was so stressed about it. I tell you all this because this was the next best thing to my own. My beautiful niece and sister....partly my own. Only this time, I felt great and could have taken pictures all day long! Thanks Sara for letting me feel like she was sort of mine for a few minutes. I will claim her any day! Meet sweet little Lucy...

Sara's Birth Story

I was lucky enough to be there when my little sister gave birth to her first baby. Little Lucy. The experience was nothing short of amazing. It really was. My sister was a trooper and worked so hard to get her here. It was worth every minute because she is a dream baby. Here are some pictures from that night. Thanks to Sara and Erik for inviting me to be there and for letting me post some pictures. I will always cherish that experience!

The Mom of this cute family is one of my best friends older sisters. She is amazing and I remember when she was getting engaged and married thinking how cool it was. Now here we are years later and she has 4 beautiful kids. They are such a neat family, I could tell how much the kids love each other. It was fun to watch. I really hope that someday, when my kids are a little older, that they will like being with each other as much as they all seemed to. It was great to see you all again (and meet some of you)! The location belongs to them and was absolutely beautiful!!!

I was able to have my first Great Salt Lake experience with this beautiful family. I am not going to lie...I am scared of spiders. And there were a lot of spiders. The pier is very very cool, until you look down. I had to concentrate hard on my camera and put the fear of a nasty spider crawling up my leg out of my mind. Who knew so many bugs could live in one spot. HOWEVER, that being said, it's worth it. I love their pictures and love that it only took us a few minutes to get to the "beach". So, thanks for picking such an eventful, scary, very pretty spot Greens:)

Beautiful baby boy #3 for this family. He is such a cutie! We had so much fun during this session...maybe a little too much fun. It took us hours and only because we were talking, feeding the babe, trying to figure out our props and having a great old time. I love this family! They are amazing and really do have some handsome boys on their hands!

Erica made this for the photo shoot and brought the branch with her. How great is that. I will say - I have seen pictures like this before but underestimated how hard it would be to actually get the baby happily IN it long enough for a picture. It was worth it though!

This is my handsome nephew, Weston. I don't get to see him much so I loved getting to take pictures of him. He is just old enough to get a little embarrassed and just young enough to have an innocent, sweet smile. We braved the very cold and went outside around my yard for a few minutes. It was freezing but they were champs. This is Ryan's brother's family.

I love this group so much! The kids are the same age and gender as mine and their Mom is truly one in a million!!! The little one challenged me a little this time. I can usually at least get a child to look - even if they don't smile. She was as smartie and sometimes wouldn't even turn her head and look my direction. What a funny girl!

What a cute family! We started off great...kids were happy and it was a beautiful night!

And then this little bean took a fall. She cut her head open and scraped her nose. It was so sad!! She looks happy here - thank goodness for a lovie, a baby, a bottle and some fruit snacks. They saved the day! What more could a little girl want?!

It all turned out great in the end - I felt bad for Mom and Dad who had to deal with it all! Thank goodness they had happy kids who made it all worth it! We got some beautiful pictures!!
